Small meets during holidays in Bay Area and Socal. Throwing this out there for consideration.
I can easily have a meet at my place in Calabasas (house layout is perfect for meets with 3-4 separate listening rooms) but it may be a bit too far for some of you in OC. I'm also due up in the Bay Area to see my folks. Thinking after X-mas.

This was Marv's cue to me as well to offer up space in the Bay Area.
I'll plan on hosting something in Sunnyvale the weekend of the 27th. My house has a weird layout, but we should have two rooms upstairs for listening. Wife will be insistent that we keep it relatively small, but we'll see what we can do :) . I'll plan on supplying the dynamic headphones and mediocre beer. I'll also plan on supplying the jealously of the SoCal group for having an Yggy to listen to. Hopefully my new mystery monitors will have arrived by then so people can criticize me for not room treating my office.

I'd love to RSVP for the 27th Mountain View meet. Haven't dragged myself out of my cave since the RWC meet earlier this year.
Hopefully CEE TEE can bring his bourbon cherries, and I'll bring a bottle of rye.

Definitely IN for a SoCAL on the 20th!
I leave the 21st at night, that's perfect timing.
I could leave some gears for the local crowd to check while I'm in France (I return the 6th).
That would be the occasion to lend the PS Audio UltraLink II to Anax and OJ.

Probably can't do the 20th; that's the kid's 21st birthday, and although he has been drinking legally in the UK all fall, there will probably be some kind of event.

Oh man. I'm going to be in Lakewood on the weekend of the 20th visiting friends. I'm not sure how long I can sneak away for, but I'd love to stop by and say hi to you guys. Maybe sneak in a picture with the Yggy so I can be the coolest kid on Instagram.
Count me in for the 27th, Ravi. I shall bring a platter of lumpia, so we can all get our oily fingers all over your new Abyss.

I don't have an Abyss yet, but I'm hoping to have a pair by then ;) .
Edit: Marv, I'm guessing we're on for my place on the 27th, or would you prefer somewhere else? I will have the following cans on hand:
dbel modded HP1k, HD800, Paradox Slant, Engima, Code-X, HD600, Focal Spirit Pro, and possibly a pair of Abyss
I'll try to see what else I can track down that's interesting. I know I have baby STAX around somewhere.

I can bring a LCD3F (and HE6) if that'd be interesting for comparison's sake. I like it quite a bit. Only have stock cables though, if that makes any sort of difference.

I'm going to try and make it. I've been meaning to visit my mom at Rosehills so I can make a day trip out of it. Only amp I have right now is the Ragnarok, how many are going to be there? (amps that is..)
If I can make it I can bring over my Spectral SDR-2000 Pro for evaluation.

I'm a rookie when it comes to this pirate business but I have met zero.... When I purchased his rwak100 and had a table at the last head-if meet near the SF airport..... I'd love to come if there's extra room and you guys wouldn't mind (nor cal).... Only things I have on hand are:
