Very interesting!
What's the plan for the drivers, etc.?

I just realized this isn't going in like a full CIEM would. Now it makes more sense. If you don't mind, will the drivers be sacrifices from a fortunate IEM?
Beautiful work, I have to say.
-
A full CIEM can be done with UV acrylic coating.
-
Looks awesome! How did you cut it? Doesn't look like your usual CNC stuff.
-
With cnc

That looks seriously awesome! It is a pity you have to ruin the beautiful wood shells with ugly looking rubber tips. What type of wood are you using? That type of tight grain looks really similar to some purpleheart I have.
-
Its a zebrano wood. Some left over from T50rp mod

Finished woody iem- reminds me of ortho sound.

That looks amazing!. But how does the wood feel in your ear? Or is it perfectly smooth?
-
It is generic iem & using tips. I wont put wood in ear canals without external treatment/coating.

I know I'm necroing this thread, but these are pretty sweet.
Are you still using them?
-
Reviving dead threads is an acceptable practice here. Look what CT did here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/266778/eddie-currents-upcoming-ss-amp-called-red-top/60#post_10813922

Yes I do, but I have to admit Orthodynamic headphones are once which I use most. While on the move I use these.
