Honestly how does he feel about being the "messiah"? How does he see his role/responsibility in commanding so much buying power in this hobby?
Are there any short/long term goals with EC now that he's on board? (that he is free to divulge)

2. Does the arrival of Yggy start a trend towards more affordable R2R multi-bit DACs or is it a temporary beach head since companies like LH Labs are squeezing more "musicality" out of DS DACs like the Sabre?

Yeah i remember reading that, i was a service tech way back when and i hated those chaintech and biostar mobo's. Till this day it's Asus/Intel/Supermicro and sometimes MSI.

I'll answer this question here. It gets kinda of weird, but please understand the overall context of everything, including why this site was created in the first place, the politics, and personal insecurities of people who suffer paranoid delusions of grandeur, etc.

I've decided to un-delete that thread. It was up about a year ago, but a friend of mine had told me that someone took it wrong way ... as a personal attack, or that it was a statement of how our mission here was to "destroy HF" (funny since I've posted good content for years and still continue to do so.) So I decided to take that thread down while relations where still chilly (not friendly, but not outright shitty) to maintain the detente. I can be a dick, but I'm not that much of a dick.
Today. It really doesn't matter now. It's my understanding that this certain person hates my guts (funny since he never did respond to PMs or e-mails when we were on "better terms", unless it was to scream and yell at me to the effect of "take yer fucking shit... fucking that... blah, blah, blah." I actually don't know exactly that he said in that PM because I deleted it immediately. At a certain age in life, you learn just walk away until someone calms down from their insane outbursts. Things (stories, rumors, etc.) start to add together over time.
So, that post thread goes back up. Pointless to try to work with people who are crazy raving lunatics. There are some very very very funny stories about that.

I wasn't on that often anyways after the Yggy was released. In the last month, just added bits and pieces to the HE1000 thread and my old DAC thread - which has turned into shit with typical HF banter. Really only a matter of time - just a waste of my time over there. Besides, everyone and their mother knows about Changstar anyways.

The noise to signal ratio in headfi is getting really bad with all kinds of crosstalk and distortion(of facts and analogy) to the point where it reminds me of the time when I was listening to real audio stream with 56k modem on ess es1868(this is not sabre/hyper stream)

Seems like there will be some good opportunities to get interviews with Jason and Mike at the upcoming Schiit show.
