The term Changstar was coined around 1999. I was on IRC talking with group of friends about computer motherboards. I think I tossed out the term "changstar" when someone asked for what cheap motherboard to buy.
Just get a changstar motherboard, they keep coming out with new and faster stuff, so don't bother getting anything super nice.
What's changstar, what you mean?
You know, one of those generic brands from Taiwan with some funky name.
It sort of became an inside joke with the Quake III WFA Clan I was with, so I bought the domain name but haven't found a use for it until now.

Completely relevant to our topic. I see no issues.

Cool. I was wondering about the name myself.

So a cross of Biostar/Chaintech :-Z

LOL. It was subliminal! I swear.

I'm a little surprised there isn't a Changstar that makes/re-brands PC components. Not yet anyway.
