I've been missing out on good music videos since ditching cable a decade ago, so let's catch up.
Rules:
1. Only three music videos per post.
2. Sorted alphanumerically.
a. Explicitly state whether you are sorting by song title, artist or director.
b. Latin characters get priority, keep your filthy foreign letters below the Zs.
3. DON"T POST MUSIC VIDEOS MADE MORE THAN 10 DECADES AGO OR IN THE FUTURE
I'll start us off with a menage a trois du Electric Deux Fois Trois:

You're not serious, are you? I can do multiple posts, right?
Sorted by artist, then title. I'm in a dark mood today... don't watch the first two if you don't like death-ish metal.

Can't get the videos to embed, so you'll have to settle for links.
(1) Dan Hartman, "I Can Dream About You." The movie sucked. This song didn't.

(2) Was (Not Was), "Spy in the House of Love. Check out the amazing 1980s hair!

(3) Scritti Politti, "First Boy in This Town." Motown? Beach Boys? Sure, why not?

Not much a music-video-er but these come to mind. I remember Take on Me and Black Hole Sun being seen as something of watersheds but wasn't really in the scene to know if that was accurate.

Of course with youtube we now get to savor fan-made videos, many of which are actually better than their official counterparts. Case in point: http://www.itsjonsalmon.com/kids (http://www.itsjonsalmon.com/kids) - not on youtube but definitely worth viewing.

The Let Down one reminds me of Legoland in Denmark. Little ants mechanically going about their day to day. Cool clip. Subtitles ruin it though.

Tool - Sober
From Wiki:
"A video for "Sober" was made in 1993. It debuted in May of that same year and was directed by Fred Stuhr. It was filmed using stop-motion animation, with the characters' models designed by Adam Jones. It was the first of Tool's videos to be made in stop motion, the earlier promo video for "Hush" being live action and featuring all four band members. However, brief flashes of the musicians can be seen near the beginning, as well as a live-action figure twitching and vibrating violently.
The video's protagonist is a small, humanoid being, who lives and sleeps in a rusty room sparsely decorated with a bed, table and chair inside an abandoned mansion. He happens to stumble upon a wooden box, which he opens near the beginning. Its contents are kept hidden for the majority of the video's duration, but it seems whatever it is has had adverse effects - there are repeated shots of the humanoid levitating in his chair, and his head and arm vibrating wildly. While experiencing these effects, he ventures through his living quarters and its many corridors.
The climax provides a barrage of imagery and revelations: a figure attached to a wall behind a translucent screen, a sentry of sorts wielding a mobile, robotic cannon and an organic substance flowing through a pipe found in the house. At the end, the box is empty, leaving the viewer to determine its meaning."
