I know people have asked me in the past about the symbolism of the Jolly Roger, and I just sort of shook it off. Well, now I will reveal everything:

  • The spear is breaking a piece of stone based on a logo very similar to this (http://audiofest.net/2012/images/headfi_logo_350.png). Although the stone has been smashed to pieces, one can still make out, upon closer examination, the left headphone cup and a portion of the headband of the original logo.

So you're telling me that it has nothing to with an angsty (Aarrr!) longing for "coitus" with the mother forum whilst the rough and abusive father forum is busy talking about cycling, bacon and travel bags?

If this place be for pirates? Then where be the ninjas? (and in the grand tradition of the internet, I suppose the robots and cowboys have their own place as well, but we don't talk about them)

If the spear means the treble peaks and ringing, does that mean...

<Insert brand> is killing the brand on the stone?
