Note that Psy and Hyuna appear in each other's videos.

Damn...now I'm going to have to play those back to back all the time. :)p2
Both are very catchy!

Hyuna loses. And good grief, get some eyebrows.
-
Just had a thought. I hope the pornsters near where Craig lives in Calabassas? don't come out with a Gangbang Style... Oh no.
-
If you had put up Hyuna's "Bubble Pop" I would have voted Hyuna. I remain undecided...
-
How liberally the word "Artist" can be used :P
Hyuna? Psy? wahhahaha :)p13

I remain undecided...
I, too, have yet to make a final decision...
Bass-line -- win for Psy. Stands out more clearly/feels more distinct in the mix. Both songs feature repetition here. Content-wise, they are simply too different in style to remove personal preference from the equation. (victory based on technicality)
Vocals/melodic content -- win for Hyuna. Vocal performance is a head above Psy, with better annunciation to boot. 'nuff said.
Harmonics/integration -- win for Psy. The overall melodic nature of Ice Cream tends to make up for short-comings, but the existing harmony is less complex that Gangnam Style. Additionally, the bass and harmony in GS blends better (i.e. -> do not drown each other out; cooperate well enough)
Artistic Expression -- win for Hyuna. [I feel that Psy is shouting his ideas, but still lacks the emotions expected from the lyrics (contempt or sarcastic ridicule). On the other hand, Hyuna sells it well with a pleasantly seductive emotional emphasis throughout the song, which exceptionally complements the "milkshake-brings-boys-to-yard" theme.
... I guess I give my vote to Hyuna, because I more quickly become tired of Gangnam Style... Plus she's sexy. :)p8

Awesome! I'm so happy some of you guys are taking it seriously. I'm in agreement with your assessment Cristello.
I find repeated listenings much easier with Hyuna's Ice Cream. (Although I prefer Bubble Pop, I decided to choose Ice Cream for this matchup.)
Just trying to find alternatives for my kids which won't annoy me... heyyyy sexy lady

how about this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhxPBrxxaqc) one? :)p13 (Je regole, je regole! Cette Chansonne... ce n'est pas pour les fils!)
Alternatively, I can't help but recommend Yelle.

Oh my. That is crude.
-
Sorry I can't stand that song...
-
Owh god.. Skylar Grey's song is.. quite crude indeed. LOL..
-
Hyuna by a mile, not like I like K-pop that much or either of them for the matter. I don't think I can stand Psy shouting for hours after today's music at the exhibition I was at. The opposite booth kept looping the Gangnam style..
-
I went with Psy. He's got a serious hook and a fun bass line. I just get bored with Hyuna about 1/2 way through!
That and the video concept for Psy hits home with me, I can relate with my exposure and travel in Korea.
