Grado GS1000 measurements
« on: March 06, 2013, 09:15:35 PM »

Ahhh. The one we've all been waiting for. Except it's two years too late for anyone to care about, laugh at, or cause a ruckus over at HF.

Looks like the whole driver matching thing for the PS series wasn't BS. No subjective impressions as there are no surprises.

That looks painful. I'v only tried them once, I liked the comfort and airiness, I did not like the sound  facepalm

I put toilet paper over the drivers to tame the highs a bit when I owned them. They are good for classical since the midrange is so flat. I'll let LFF explain the rest on why they are good for classical.

Trivia: What other non-Grado headphone sounds most like the GS1000?

These are IMO one of the biggest failures in the history of headphones.

But was it really that long ago? Feels like it was only yesterday.
