I managed to pick up a first pressing and the original first pressing is already bright as is. It sounds ok as is and definitely needs some major tweaking to sound its best.

I can only imagine how bad the remaster must sound if it is actually brighter!  ???

How about the beatles remasters?

Also ok...for me they were "meh" in terms of naturalness and over-all sound quality. If you can make it to a meet where I am at, you'll get to hear The Beatles in all their glory... 8)
