Absolutely true. I downloaded several other 24/196 files and it was true sonic bliss. Since my last post I gave "Pearl" another try. Now that I am over the shock of hearing it the way it was recorded, I was able to hear little details in Joplin's voice that I have never heard. It is just adjusting to hearing it that way. Makes me wonder what equipment they were using in 1970 and what chemicals were flowing in everyone's systems.  :)p8 They do sound like they were all having a real good time.  headbang :money: Wish more modern recordings had that feel too them, not the "every note has to be perfect" Pro Tool the crap out of it, and then compress it to death system that exists now. A little human imperfection is a good thing IMHO.
