It's sad, because I like TR more than Uncharted 1 & 2. Even if the sequel does turn out be a better game than U4, it's still going to be vastly overshadowed on the system.
Tomb Raider's story and characters are probably worse than Uncharted's, but the gameplay is very similar yet also significantly improved. 1) You can carry all of the weapons you pick up 2) You can upgrade them and your skills (durability, capacity, attack damage, etc) 3) There's a side focus on melee, so if you like jamming a hatchet into people's skulls, and 4) It's slightly less linear, not just pushing you from point A to B like an action film. You can walk around a bit, backtrack to pick up items after acquiring new abilities and weapons. The PS4 version is the best version IIRC (well, depends on if you don't mind Lara's new face). The PC doesn't have the added graphical affects, but it does run stable at 60fps and gets discounted to $5 regularly.
