NY Audio Show - Is this the end?
« on: September 23, 2015, 08:10:33 PM »

The NY Audio Show is November 6-8 at the Hilton in Westchester. 2 years ago it was at the Waldorf in midtown. Last year it was at the Marriott in downtown Brooklyn, and attendance was down. This year it’s in freaking Westchester. You can’t get to the hotel on the subway or the bus. No one here owns a car. You have to take the subway, then a  commuter train, then walk 2 miles. No one is going to go out there. It’s going to be members of the press and no one else. I predict tumbleweeds. The NYC—Brooklyn—Westchester progression actually makes me scared for the industry. Is this it? Is this the end?
