Here's mine. Haven't bought or assembled anything yet.

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=28174065

Took out the 2TB RE4 for now since the 480GB variant of the 730 was actually cheaper than the 240GB variant (???) and I won't need that extra storage for a while yet.

Had a Formula VII in there but it went OoS. I think ASUS already discontinued the Z97 series since Skylake is out. Assholes.

Using a 1000W Platinum Seasonic that's in my current build for the PSU. I'd buy a new one so I could resell my current build, but I'd rather not do another 3 RMAs for this fucker.

Debating replacing the 730 with an M.2 drive.

I'll take pictures of my current build in a bit. Its as follows:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1100T @ 3.31GHz
GPU: MSi GTX-550Ti Superclocked "Cyclone II"
RAM: 8GB G.Skill Value Series 2600MHz
CPU cooler: Noctua C15
PSU: 1000W Platinum Seasonic
Case: Lian-Li PC-B25F

Monitor: Eizo Foris FS2434 (IPS, 0ms input delay)
Keyboard: DAS 4 Ultimate
Mouse: Razer DeathAdder Black Edition
Second monitor: some old eMachines thing
Speakers: PowerWoofer OG-5050 (not too bad sounding, modded with a crossover and piezo horn tweeters)

replacing the second monitor with a Yiynova MSP19U+ soon, keeping the same perhipherals for next build

You can still buy z97 boards from Newegg just because Asus may have stopped making them doesn't mean there aren't any for sale haha.

I built this last year August/September (2014), recently changed the Graphics Card from a Zotac 750Ti to a GTX 980, added two more sticks of the same RAM, got another SSD (for Win10).
Also rewired and changed some of the fans.

Intel Core i7 4790K
Asus Maximus VII Formula (Z97)
Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB DDR-3 1866Mhz
Gigabyte G1 GTX 980

Samsung SSD 850 Pro 256GB
Samsung SSD 840 Pro 256GB
WD Black 6TB x 2

ASUS Dual-Band Wireless-AC1900 PCE-AC68 (did not like the built-in one on the Motherboard)

Corsair Obsidian 750D Case
Corsair AX1200 (Gold single rail one) PSU
Corsair H100i CPU Water Cooler

2 x Scythe S-Flex 120mm on bottom intake
2 x Gentle Typhoon AP-29 with PWN Mod on the radiator
3 x Cougar CFD140 Orange/Red LED for front intake and back exhaust

Monitor: BenQ XL2420Z

Speakers: Razer Mako 2.1

Keyboard: Filco Majestouch 2 Ninja Full Size

Mouse: MadCatz M.M.O.7 Orange/Black with G.L.I.D.E.7 Surface

Webcam: Logitech C920

Microphone: Samson Meteor Chrome

Edit: Technically not mine, but my wife and I built a gaming PC for my her birthday this month:

Intel Core i5 6600K (she liked the box)
Asus Maximus VIII Hero (Z170)
Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB DDR-4 2800Mhz (pretty lights!)
Zotac GTX 750Ti
Samsung SSD 850 Pro 512GB
ASUS Dual-Band Wireless-AC1900 PCE-AC68
Corsair Obsidian 450D Case
Corsair AX860i PSU
Corsair H100i CPU Water Cooler
3 x Cougar CFD140 Green LED for front intake and bottom intake
1 x Cougar CFD120 Green LED for back exhaust
2 x Corsair SP-120 for the Radiator

Since this was purchased all in the span of 4 days, I have an idea of pricing regarding how much this cost: $1300-$1400.
She doesn't like the look of the Zotac, so her first upgrade is probably going to be the graphics card.

uh yes but the Formula is now out of stock, which is what I wanted and what I had in there

ASUS discontinued it, so now I cant get one unless I pay $700 to a scalper on amazon

hence the Hero instead

Everyone needs to go back and put a price tag at the top of your build for those that may be interested in going down that road...

Asus didn't discontinue it. It was just a very limited production run. I got one of the first three to come to Canada back in August 2014 :)

Built my current machine in the Summer of 2012:
CPU - Intel i7 3770k Ivy Bridge OC'd 4.3GHz
CPU cooler - Noctua DH-14
GPU - eVGA nVidia 670 GTX SuperClock 4GB
MOBO - asRock Z77 Extreme9
Monitor - BenQ XL2420G (1080p 24" GSync, bought in 20142015)
RAM - 1.25 V G.Skill Sniper 2 x 8GB (CAS9 etc etc etc)
SSD - OCZ Vertex 4 128 GB
SteamDrive - 4TB Hitachi (bought in 2013)
Case - Rosewill Thor V2 White
Keyboard - Corsair K70 (Cherry Red)
Mouse - Logitech G502 Proteus
Mousing Surface - Corsair MMM600
PSU - Seasonic Platinum 760W (maybe 860W, can't remember)

Future Upgrades - nVidia Pascal-based GPU, Soundblaster Z
EDIT: Cost about $2200 without monitor back in 2012. Probably get similar performance at about $1500 now mainly from the better GPU and lower SSD costs. If you like strategy and simulator games, also get a benefit from the newer CPUs. PSU was also overkill.

My Linux Server
CPU - i3770
MOBO - asRock Z77 Extreme6
RAM - Same as above
SSD - 64GB Samsung 830
HDD - 2 x 4TB Raid10, plus 12TB external storage array
Case - Silverstone Fortress FT02B (no window)
