Oh, hey, I actually know that guy!  RCBinTN was at our last headphone meetup.

Seriously nice guy and I promise that he means well.

He's just old and is still trying to get a grasp on all things...digital.  Our Nashville group spent some time talking him through the ins and outs of DAPs and computer software for audio.

But, he's bought some nice gear and is always eager to share and talk.  Give him a chance.   ;D

Yeah, I didn't think that PM was bad at all.  He clearly meant well.

Now I feel bad. I asked him to delete them.  :-[

It just really creeped me out for some reason.

Are we talking Jerry Springer levels of debauchery, or stuff that would make 4chan gouge their eyes out?

I've always wondered if you can get in legal trouble for publicly sharing private forum messages that include the sender's name...

Unless it's hidden in the small print somewhere... why and how?

I can't impose a duty of confidentiality on you: if I send you this message, I have no control over what you do with it. Hmmm... unless I'm some sort of copyright troll with a law firm.

A long time ago, I sat in a management meeting, propounding that there was no point in putting the usual hogwash as a footer to the company e-mails, because, legally, it was hogwash. Decision: "Maybe you're right, but we'd better put it there anyway."

(IANAL) --- and I might be talking crap there. move along...
