Latest scoop! I just got wind of the final finish offerings available for the new Sennheiser amp. If anyone cares to check them out in person, just head over to Home Depot (Kitchen Cabinet section-Aisle 5)).

Thank god. I've been on the market for an amplifier that can double as an easy clean cutting board.

  • In the end... cats.

So... you've found your new kitchen system, right?

But I wouldn't advise it: marble is too soft. Not recommended as a cutting board.

(Is it, seriously, marble? Are features/spec actually available? All I saw on Senn's site was a video, which I can't be bothered to watch)

Any news on if the amp and headphones are sold separately? Or perhaps there is a choice to buy the amp and headphones together as a package deal price rather than if you bought the amp and headphones separately.

P.S. If I missed the answer to this question in one of the posts, I apologize, I read all of the posts, but could have possibly missed the answer to my question.

P.S.S. I know you can hardly see the headphones themselves in OJneg's first post in this thread, but from what I can see, they kinda look like the The Sennheiser Orpheus style.

Thad's right. Granite is the stone of choice :))

Hard to say that design is Sennheiser's strength. Their pop-up stores in NY an SF were all kinds of creepy. (H/T Godwin)

The morbid overtones of the granite chassis may be part of the design language, intentional or not.

One thing is certain. It is a Sennheiser, most likely to be made in Germany.

Now hope the headband will not be made of marble.

In case anyone was wondering what it's like to be a Sennheiser Beta Tester.
