Seems my predictions came true, and this is 100% what I expected from the announce, I was hoping for the middle ground upgrade that would make both a DAC/AMP cost about as much as the Yggdrasil with what is likely staggering value/performance ratio. Well done Schiit, now just time to hear what the pirates have to say about it.

Not quite a tube buffer, but definitely a tube pre-amp. Note that I've used the Mojo 1 as a preamp feeding a Crest CA2 power amp for the HE-500. Mojo 2 could serve double duty as a nice preamp. Actually it could serve as a power amp too for efficient speakers (if you wire up an appropriate cable from the headouts, NOT the preouts)

 How well does the Mjolnir 2(glass tube) compare to the Ragnarok when pair up with Yggdrasil?

Guess the MB Gun + Mjolnir 2 is a serious challenger to the Audio-gd Master 11.

Guess we need to have a dac abx double blind test loudness equalized with million dollar challenge ala arstechnica ethernet challenge. (Just joking here) ;)
