Yeah, this is a pretty drastic thing to drop. I'm wondering if Changstar will be reborn as a different site with different underlying tech powering the message board AND, even if the same people are involved, maybe leave behind some of the stigma caused by the HF admins opinions of the board (in the censoring of PMs and posts but also in speaking to vendors). And Marv is a member of the trade now so perhaps he will not be at the helm.
All speculation.
The closing of the shout box has greatly increased posting, though.
