COC basic tactics
« on: August 04, 2015, 09:18:40 PM »

Thought to break off a thread for anything relating to tactics for CoC, feel free to add.

I hadn't heard of ONeHive before, just watching a few of their vids is bound to up your game for the casual player.

Don't use GoWiPe.

It's a 2* strat.  Go for 3!  Surgical hog attacks are the strongest right now at TH9 and below, followed closely by LavaLoon attacks.

Since you've discovered OneHive, here's a good video about breaking out of the GoWiPe rut:

I've been practicing HoGoWiPe lately. Hogs still scare me too much. One wrong move, and you get zero stars.

It's all about mapping out their pathing before you attack.  You don't want any surprises.  If you map it out in advance, then you know exactly where to place your heal spells as they progress throughout the base.

Air Sweeper changes things with Balloons now though...have to try and watch the newest vids from OneHive to see how Air Sweepers have changed the strategies.  Plus Earthquake Spell!
