Karlsson's Gold passes the test: you can easily drink it neat. It aims for the middle in body and taste, so it's a little characterless for its price. But I'm very pleasantly surprised that the owner of Absolut made such a competent product.

I think if you are mixing man Kirkland (not the US stuff but the imported stuff from France) is great.

My drink of choice during the winter being Vodka rocks I enjoy drinking Goose or Russian Standard.
