In the meantime, it seems I came home with an extra switching power supply, like what you'd use in a laptop. Not sure if I snagged it thinking it was for the Ember or if someone left it with me accidentally. Hoping it wasn't supposed to stay at the meet environment! Can ship it ASAP to whoever it belongs to.

Thanks!  I've really been enjoying that Elekeit TU-8200DX and as you could probably tell, I'm all about the versatility and tweak-ability that this amplifier provides.  To me it has very few weaknesses, all awhile having many functions/abilities that others, even those well above its price range, do not.  It can be hard to quickly get a good sense of this amplifier, as a simple tube swap will often yield very different results; the combo I had playing most of the day I prefer with acoustic or live music, but it's not always the best for everything else, especially rock.

I'd be very interested in your opinions, so you'll have to do some comparisons at the next meet, but until then let me know if you have any questions about the kit.  There are a few reviews online and many positive experiences, but it's both a less known company and amplifier than many of these toys.
