Gin Thread

Dr Pan K:
Sapphire here, with lemon juice. Hendricks despite being a superior gin comes second as I prefer the lime, liquorice and almond flavors over the cucumber and rose of the Hendricks.

Among those less known Damrak tops my preferences.

Anaxilus:
Tanqueray Rangpur is a nice mixer for the right drinks. Hendricks is nice, smooth and pleasant. I do like Bombay Sapphire for it's medicinal qualities on occasion.

Kirosia:
Is there any gin that tastes like sour power straws?

Bína:
If I don't drink beer, gin with ginger tonic is my next choice. So refreshing and easy  to drink.

CEE TEE:
I used to drink Damrak for martinis and Tanqueray 10 with tonic (just a touch).

But I highly recommend St. George Terroir.  Seriously smells like walking trails or hillside in Palo Alto near Stanford.  California botanicals.

I want to try this beast:  Barr Hill Reserve Tom Cat.  Apparently, some strict rules do not allow them to market it as gin.  Barrel aged gin.
