This album has me so fucking excited. More importantly, it has me thankful for it. Very impressive in its range. More impressive that it manages to be straightforwardly beautiful at the same time.

There is a Dutch underground scene of nerds who are into 8-Bit and 16-Bit music. I know Popsicle Theory personally. She is pretty awesome and I bought one of her albums on from Bandcamp. This is a live recording in less than ideal conditions. I was there that night.

Here is a recent video.

FUCK YES!

Edit: I've really been digging this song the past few days. Somehow I never fell in love with it from my initial listen throughs of the album - probably because it's toward the end. Chris Clark is a fucking genius.

Oldie but a goodie.. this gorgeous take on this Alice Russell classic.  TM Juke's original production was so good, so I've heard more boo boo remixes of this beautiful track than great ones.  This dub-soaked remix by FKJ clearly falls in the latter category.
