Really, no dubstep or DnB? There's amazing music among all genres. The stuff I've seen in the Head-fi thread has mostly been super experimental.

...and some DnB. Jon Gooch is just excellent.

Not that it really means this in Japanese, but in English usage, "hentai" specifically refers to pornographic animation or drawings in in anime style.

Hence the confusion among some.  What exactly does it take to make music pornographic?

Now back to the music...

I will suggest a classic album from the 90ties. This album is full of dynamic range, layers, details and compositional genius. B.B.E.'s album "Games" is a must have if you want a taste of Electro/House/Techno before bland mainstream crap took over.

I grew up with this music. The Netherlands were a great place to get a taste for this kind of music. Break beat and big beat were less popular in the Netherlands though. For break beats and big beats the UK and to an extent France were great in the 90ties. France is great for real Dub music.

The year 2000, Barthezz. Yes there were others, not just Armin van Buuren and Tiesto.
