wait I thought we couldn't talk about the [redacted^2] + solid lyr.

Don't worry. No one reads this site and few people will ever know about it because HF deletes any mention of it. :-) I'm glad you could make it, although I didn't get a chance to talk to you and a lot of the other guys.

made me wish for a solid tube yggy (that I probably couldn't afford anyways, but that doesn't mean it shouldn't exist).

It's in the works. A few of us were actually talking about it. No easy solution. Lots of different approaches. Basically brainstorm up a lot of ideas to solve a certain headache at this point.

I can't remember what brand/model the hour glass speaker was. But yes, I liked the Magico overpriced stuff better.

Also, I have yet to hear anything that would justify $189k (or even tenth of that), from any brand.

AND SPECIAL THANKS TO CASEY and LH! Won a Geek Out V2!!!  :)p5 :)p5 :)p5

Also THANKS TO MERV for organizing this meet! :)p1 :)p1 :)p1

$189,000?

All that shit is prohibitively expensive to me regardless. I don't even look at price tags at THE Show. Take retail cost / 100 and I'll build anyone that same shit. It'll be finished with Tung Oil not automotive paint though.

Thanks Darrin for showing up! We finally got a chance to sit down here. Your stations are always too busy at the big shows.

The owner of this DAC tells me that he's getting a reDACted if and when it comes out. We delivered this to him at the meet:

Production GOv2. Yeah, huge leap in sound quality to v1.

Audio Zenith

Perfect tonality. I would advise anyone considering other TOTL headphones like HD800 and LCD3 to at least give these a listen and consideration.

haha I should link this thread and test my luck.

No problem man I know you had a lot of duties to do at the meet.  We'll talk more at the next one.  :money:

wow that would be interesting if it did happen eager to hear more about the solid tubes Jason is putting together.  Not much of a tube expert at all but I like the sound.
