HM5 Pads = Drool
« on: June 24, 2015, 04:52:29 PM »

Has anyone else discovered the joys of the HM5 memory foam pads? Using the leathers on my T90 has completely changed my experience of this headphone. I used to only use it for a select few things, while HD650 got most of my head time, but since slapping the HM5 leathers on, the T90 is literally the only headphone I use.

The pads' effect on my DT770 32LE was less desirable, but the comfort is still pretty awesome. Think I'm going to try their hybrid pads on my 770 next.

I don't think ANYTHING can make the T90 tolerable for me. What amp and dac are you using?

The only thing that could make the T90 tolerable for me would be deafness. Wait, the T90 can help with that!  :)p1

Yup, these pads are awesome.  High quality stitching, nice feel, and very reasonably priced.

I wish they weren't circular. I need oval pads for my 10-II. I would've tried these a long time ago otherwise.

Wait... WTF they are oval, how the hell do they fit on a T90 if they're oval

ok just ordered pleathers, will report on results later

They're oval but quite flexible. I would recommend the memory foam velours as well, they help a lot getting rid of bass bloat and reduce the dips past 2 KHz to some extent.

Bass bloat isn't one of my issues, but 2kHz is... thanks.

I was gonna get both at the same time but I wasn't even sure they'd fit so I'm gonna get the velours after I know for sure the pleathers fit.
