Mine was here: http://www.head-fi.org/t/269652/what-headphones-are-you-using-right-now/5655#post_5727309

I actually forgot why I went there in the first place. Now I remember, I was trying to get something better than it. Ironically, after everything, I still have the Ety HF5.

I think my first post on head-fi had to do with the Edition 10 looking vaguely like a vagina.

Edit: I figure my first post here should be about my first post on head-fi. Oh ho ho. MF, you're so clever.

I mostly talk about music there. Weird.

Anaxilus:

I think the open back grill/ports are not so hot.  Seems to remind me of something.  A vagina perhaps?

MuppetFace:

That only makes me want them all the more.

Nice to see you here!

A lot of guys have been clamouring for you to be here. You would be flattered by some of the great things that we've all said about you.

I was looking for a cheap DAC back then.

I remember what got me on H-Fi.  After being a Shure IEM man for 3-4 years and finally having another cable disintegrate I decided to check out the competition.  Hit up CES and heard the ER4 at the Etymotic booth for the first time.  Realized a whole other world existed beyond Shure.  I think it was the year after the HD800 was released, there was still buzz about it on the floor.  I was the Anti-Senn at the time and firmly in the Sony camp w/ my old beater CD2K.  Prior I spent most of my time focused on Car audio w/ Alpine, Pioneer Premier, Polk, Focal, Diamond Audio, Phoenix Gold, MB Quart, Eclipse.

my first post on HF was in january 2007 (after four years of occasional lurking) a comment about entry-level computer audio and USB: http://www.head-fi.org/t/216591/improving-computer-as-source/30#post_2623089, and my first thread-start was a question about the history of the DAP: http://www.head-fi.org/t/259360/who-invented-the-dap in november 2007... the reason I found HF (and about half a dozen other audio forums) in the first place was because when I moved to orange county, I reconnected with an old friend and audiophile, and he sent me links to lots of online resources
