Can we stop giving Jeff a hard time? The dude's not even being paid to deal with this. He has zero control over the actual shipping process and complaining won't make the headphones come any faster. I highly doubt anyone will keel over and die if the headphones take a couple extra days, or even weeks, to get to you.

Update:

1st batch officially left China. International shipments should be direct from DHL. I'll message tracking numbers when they're up.

US orders are first being sent to Summer in Delaware, and then being forwarded via USPS. They made the last minute decision to do the shipment in bulk. I suppose it made more sense and was safer? I'll send USPS tracking once they arrive in the states.

For the fkers that b*tched to me everyday, you're automatically in 2nd batch...

In more seriousness, batches are determined by when your payment was received or whether you had to receive them by a certain date. Also, most of the first batch seems to come from people that replied in the thread. If you sent a message requesting to be added because you didn't follow directions, you're proooobably in the 2nd batch.

That said, 2nd batch is expected to leave China this weekend, so the delay should be minimal.

What pads were used on the HE1000s heard at meets? Was it the same Focus-type pads with leather on the inside? I am thinking I would like to hear a full velour version (similar to Focus-A).
It would be good if this was an alternative.

I tried pitching to Fang about maybe trying Focus-A variant for HE1000 cups...he didn't say anything back though.

We could always slap on adhesive felt and see how it sounds.

Adhesive felt isn't very nice to the touch I think. For my jergpads, I used double sided tape and microfiber cloth. Nice and soft.
