STAX DIY T2 Power On Wattage and Current Measurements

(1/4) > >>

Marvey:
I was trying to figure out why these 4A Rat Shack slow-blow fuses kept being blown. I figured they were just cheap and not really slow-blow.

The box takes samples every second. The graphs are max watts and amps for each second sampled.  Normal operating wattage is ~250 for the T2. The tube filaments light up first, then the rest of the amp.

The fuses are gay?  They are male fuses that have sex with other male fuses?  How old are you?  I prefer to leave such idiotic language to my memories of 3rd grade.

for that amount of amperes if the fuses were used as current limiter/protection i would assumed at least 250v 10A fuse be better off there, unless of course the 4A fuse was listed for the design. the fuses at radioshack are actually not bad. i use them all the time. i mean if you want you can always go crazy and get liquid filled fuses but costing 50 bucks a fuse....i don't know.

Ruh oh, the nor-cal word police are out.  ;) Gay can only have one meaning now?  I guess I'll have to ignore all those chinks in my car.  ;D
