I once had D5000 & now own TH900 (had them together for couple of months), so another vote from me. It is better in all respects - Bass, Mids, Highs, Soundstage, Resolution & Comfort.

Thanks to everyone for suggestions and comments. I guess in the end, there is nothing like the D5000 at its price point. However, I did manage to participate in the massdrop TH900 which I look forward to hearing with my amps.
