Thanks Kunlun!

I've tried on some Swiss Armies from the Officer line. They were OK, but I just wasn't taken with them so I bought another Timex.

I'm not familiar with Glycine but I'll check them out. I forgot that some Weils are within my price range.

My dad wears a watch that a mobster patient gave him. My dad tried to refuse, but the guy said, no, he should take it, he had more just like it from a set that "just happened to fall off a truck"...

I'm having a hard time because I need one that's on the smaller side. My Timex' case is 35 mm. I went to a local jeweler to try on some Hamiltons and, at 40 mm, they were all too big. I could probably go up to 38.

What comes to mind? Thanks.

How about a 38mm Hamilton Khaki?

My current daily is a Timex Expedition Military Field T498759J

The stock straps were garbage, so I changed them to the Timex TX2258 strap:

Recently, the wife gave me a Seiko SNN241, which looks amazing in person :)

Thanks for making me reconsider. It's a little too busy, especially with the dingy beige face.  But the silver-faced version is OK, especially if I change the band to black leather. So I'll see who has it in stock round here.

I'm still going to look into the Weils. Worst case and I can't find anything I like under 1k, I buy another Timex and save up in order to have more choice on the next go round.

My favorite Hamilton. Too big on me. :'(  As Art Deco as the Empire State Building.

Currently I have a Tag Heuer formula 1 quartz.

My dream watch is by Jean Sebastien Viot

I like his philosophy a lot. He developed his watch with longevity in mind. He designed the watch to be relatively easy to repair by an experienced watch maker. Just need to get $20,000 of disposible income before he stops making watches.   :'(

Nice Tissot and TAG watches, guys!

I need some pirate help, including TheGame.

Which of these two do you like?:

Moonphase

Or no moonphase:

A real life pic of the moonphase, with two other Journes:

I personally like the Moonphase version - however is there a price difference? If you aren't concerned with the moonphase option, go with the other version.

P.S. What type of Movement is it? - Automatic?
