Oh thats cool!  I like getting acupuncture.

Yeah the last time I saw a 10k for a pedometer it was a person running for a couple of miles.
Now imagine a glorious City filled with such persons.

That's nice watch. You getting the black or white dial?

The acrylic will scratch very easily, but it's also pretty easy to polish up.
Mineral glass is the worst, I used diamond grit polish to clear up a scratch on a watch that was a gift. It took a a couple of hours to get it out.

Yeah, I definitely like it and I think the size is perfect.
I ordered the Phantom A Khaki / Full-Lume, No Date, DLC finish.
Something different for my crappy collection LOL.
I have:

Steinhart Apollon
Steinhart Aviator
Steinhart Marine (Terra Incognita Edition)
Ball Fireman Racer (white dial)
Obris Morgan PRADATA
Deep Blue Juggernaut automatic
Deep Blue Juggernaut III (Quartz - White MOP)
Casio G-Shock GW3000B-1A
Casio G-Shock GW6900 (black)
Casio G-Shock Mudman Navy G9300-NV2
Rodina (Bauhaus-style)
Citizen CB0025-56E
Citizen Ecozilla

All of them cheap but functional. ;)

I just found these watches.  They look pretty neat.

Jord watches made of wood.

Yeah no kidding.  I don't think they are water resistant. Watch-out for termites..lol

Edit: I did find this discretion.

"Each JORD watch is designed to be splash proof but is not intended for complete submergence in water. Also note that due to the nature of the wood chosen for each unique timepiece, colors and grain pattern may vary from photos."

I saw that! Really the very minimum acceptable for water resistance is 3 bar (it's measured by pressure, so 3 bar is 3ATM or 30m). 30 meters sounds like a lot, but it really means you can wash your hands and be okay. Anything less, such as with these woodies, and it's sketchy.

A lot of dress watches are good for 3 bar. I prefer 5 bar/50m or more. Rolex, the first company to have a water resistant watch, can actually claim to be watch proof to a given depth. They are like tanks (and some would say they look the part too much). Their 10bar/100m water proof watches are tested to 200m depth in actual watch rather than just an air pressure approximation. I'm basically drinking their koolaid in telling you this, but it's still pretty interesting, hopefully.

Haha yeah it is interesting.  I never knew about the bar=10m thing.  But now I do.  Now I know how much water a watch can handle.  I try to pick watches that are completely water proof.  The watch I have I know can be used to keep lap counts swimming and the distance if the swimmer is out in the ocean.  I just checked my watches spaces and it's got 10ATM=200m.
