Ha, awesome.

So, what are your sights set on?

Here's the limited edition platinum version of the new Globemaster which is super duper accurate for an automatic watch.

And here's my trip to some watch boutiques:
I am looking for a blue hands blue markings watch which includes date and second hand, and ideally is durable. I'm wondering if bracelets are the way to go as I'm babying my alligator strapped JLC, but even then, 3 years from now or less I'll need a new strap (they say).

What the Breguet marine looks like on my wrist:

I tried to catch the light off the blue hands.
It's sorta very dressy combined with being sporty. I kinda like it, but I'm not sure.

Omega deville prestige in white gold. I like it, but 2500 caliber is a little dated and 3bar water resistance is okay, but I'd like more for peace of mind.

This is the discontinued as of September 2015 platinum Day date II, the new Day Date 40, which is slightly smaller in dial and bezel, replaces it and adds a new caliber inside.
I like it. It weighs a ton. Saving up for the new one (pictured a page or two back), gives me something to save for other than just investing every penny.

I also tried the IWC Portuguese 7-day power reserve with a much improved caliber for 2015.
It's 42mm and 14.5 mm high. 3bar water resistance...
Not my pics, but here are some wrist shots:

Kunlun,

you like the blue? Methinks black makes it more elegant (IMO of course)

I really like that Omega, Kunlun.  The Breguet is nice but that Omega looks like something I would want to wear forever.

Hi there! For which watch? I think black on white can look very classy and smart. On the JLC Reverso, so example, the 1931 looks amazing in a white on black style. The one I've posted is the 1948 tribute. Somehow, the blue hands on white are a unique look I'm drawn to. I already have the JLC MUT Moon (pictured earlier in the thread, so classy is covered!).

P.S. post some watches you think are super classy!

I really like that Omega, Kunlun.  The Breguet is nice but that Omega looks like something I would want to wear forever.

Thanks, CeeTee! I appreciate the input (everybody's welcome, by the way!). Yeah, that Omega has a pretty nice look. I think one way or another, it'll find a way into my collection! Not sure on the Breguet. The Breguet fulfills everything I am looking for, yet somehow I need to wait further on it.

The Breguet checks all the boxes for me: great movement, interesting dial, date somewhere other than the 3 o'clock position, and a good back story.

What's holding you back?  Granted, it would be hard to go wrong with any of the choices you've posted.  headbang
