I'm sure the CSDs will be great, but I'm curious about transparency (if I remember that is part of the reason it's been delayed). My attempts (I tried twice, the 2nd time more carefully) at doing Tyll's mod left me feeling that transparency was reduced, and I never lasted long with it. I'm back to stock with some constantly changing equalization instead.

Eagerly waiting for some measurements! >500Hz will surely be a huge improvement (as previous done for the 3.0 have shown), not only in smoothness but time domain as well. Am interested how this mod will affect harmonic distortion figures in bass. Subjective analysis? I guess inexperienced listeners would see it get relatively "bloated" due to the quite significant drop at ~5K.
Looking at the shape of the enclosure, I doubt a bit of liner or whatever secret sauce it has will have much of an effect though.
