Nah bro, just pour a cup of liquid oxygen up your butt and strike a match.

K, I've got the match lit.  The liquefied O2 just seems to succumb to this gravity stuff and pour down only.  Nothing's happened.  This Schiit is too technical for me, I'll just buy a Tesla.

So Fulla or GO 450?

No one has a fulla yet, but based on company history, fulla. LH has lost a lot of cred with their geek kickstarter smorgasbord.

It is probably 24/96. Blame is on Microsoft who refuses to support USB Audio Class 2.0.

And seriously wtf was going on that HF thread... first 8 pages are all about DSD. Some people really want DSD indeed.

DSD seems to be supported for me.

That may be true for many but the original question I think had to do with how products actually sound, not ship or market.

Oh I'm buying this.

Will be interested to see if it works with my Pixel. If not I have a great excuse to finally dual boot linux on it.

Primary use will be with my Sony Z Ultra, which just got Lollipop OTA last night. Perfect timing!

No one has a fulla yet, but based on company history, fulla. LH has lost a lot of cred with their geek kickstarter smorgasbord.

I've had a half-baked prototype of the Fulla with noisy or partially broken negative power rail that I've been using at work. So take what I am about to say with a grain of salt.

The Fulla has a more rounded warm-bodied sound, the GO has straighter edges, sharper attacks, faster pace. In that context, a more "hifi" sound. GO will support hires and DSD. The GO also seems to have a blacker background - although I do wonder if the Fulla proto is at a serious disadvantage here because the one I have is half-baked. GO seems to have more power which seems according to published specs - no surprise here. Fulla gets soft trying to drive difficult orthos, GO did a little bit better. Fulla interface is so much better with volume knob.

I'd say if you have efficient neutral or bright headphones, go with Fulla. GO for difficult to drive headphone or those needing some brightness. GO with something like HD650 is fantastic. I preferred the Fulla with the Paradox and AD2000. This is taking the angle of a all-in-one DAC/amp device. Both are better than Hugo as a combo DAC/amp. I think what it will come down to for most people is the price.

Yep, compare the prototype photo with production, and you'll see additional inductors, etc for filtering the negative rail...also significant decrapification of stuff you can't see, including a very screwed up plane in the 4-layer board that borked the analog and digital grounds. Yeah, sometimes I suck like that.

And Marv, yep, DSD, that's the way it's usually done anyway...shhhh...
