I realise this was a while ago, but I am getting a Theta Gen V A unit serviced in the UK. Not at the fault of the poor Theta. An Audio GD unit fried the DAC output because they chose to apply input shorting on the amplifier. Very bad practice as confirmed by several lead engineers including Mike Moffatt.

If they are able to repair it to a very good standard I will let you know. I have another Theta unit to benchmark it against.
