Hey everyone! This has been long overdue but just wanted to say hello before schiitfest tomorrow and a chance to bump into other pirates.  Anyway I'm a lurker by nature but i've been into headphones since high school and drooling over a bithead on headroom and didn't really want to go down the same line as my dad with his interests in home theater. Music has always been my love.  Went overseas during university years making do, but completely loving, a denon ah-d1001k.  Now that I'm back stateside i've a decent collection and a proper dac thanks to stumbling onto Marv's words on that headfi.  Met Marv at SoCal Canjam this year.  He was kind enough to share some insight on his setup and that's why I've a lower model Theta now and enjoying every minute of it and hoping it doesn't go kaput for a while. Anywho thanks for making this site awesome everyone!   

Hello! I am a high school student from SW Missouri and finally decided to join this forum after lurking for a while. I have always been interested in music but only have I recently got into the world of headphones and found myself spending way too much already on this hobby. As I am still in high school my collection is relatively small but growing with plenty of room for expansion next year with ether a ZMF Omni or Mr Speakers Eather C. My first pair of decent Headphones are my ATH-M50Xs whitch some bash but I find them good for a portable pair. I look forward to becoming a part of this great community!
