I'm kinda stuck in mid-fi+ purgatory. I have a crapload of different headphones and earphones. The best I have are the Sennheiser HD650 (open), Fostex TH600 (semi-closed), Noble 5 (IEM), and Sennheiser G4me Zero (closed gaming). But I have about half a dozen other decent headphones that I could've just not purchased and would have been able to save for something closer to the summit.

I don't tend to buy lots of stuff, but I had a couple of mid-fi gear > $100 which was sold. KSC-75s I do have more than 2. One broke on me since they tend to take a little abuse sometimes.

I don't even remember what it was, but it's treble was absolutely heinous.
I believe there is talk of a Christmas party up in the Bay Area during the last week of the year. That may be a good time for us to get our costumes out.
Just saw that I should post here as a new(ish) member, so here I am. I seem to have only acquired one pair of phones that I would consider unnecessary, though I still think they're pretty good sounding (DT 1350). All the others I've purchased since I got back into "audio" a little over a year ago have their place and purpose. The DT 1350s were also my first buy and were what got me started in this game.
