I don't eat meat. I'm pretty sure I'm not one of those people that tries to impose my worldview on other people though. Do what makes you happy as long as it doesn't shit on anyone else. That said, one of my kids decided that they are suddenly 'allergic' to meat the other day, lol.

I also like to lift heavy things.

I don't drink alcohol either. I hope that's not a problem. I was pretty off the rails for the first 20 or so years of my life but in the past 10 I have pulled myself together, I think. Amazing wife, two kids, career, apartment. I had to leave a few things that I used to depend on behind though, including some people. I don't think we were very good for each other, so I think it was probably for the best.

I also like headphones, IEMs specifically. I live in Australia, which isn't the easiest place to partake in this hobby. Meets are few and far between. I mainly rely on other peoples impressions online in making my purchase decisions. I have bought A LOT of random equipment over the years, mainly driven by head-fi hype trains. Some hits, a lot of misses. 

At the moment I have Noble N4, K10 and Savant. Noble make some interesting products. I think as the business has grown their QC and CS has faltered a little bit though. If I am honest with myself, my preference is N4 > Savant > K10. N4 just feels right to me. Savant feels a little more V shaped. It's imaging is pretty unreal for an IEM though, spooky even. I also keep discovering details within familiar music that I just haven't noticed before. K10 is an impressive monitor, but it is a little 'overdone' for me. It is very fun to listen to though. 

My source is a Geek Out. My amp is a Headamp Pico Power. I have been pretty happy with this setup for my IEMs.

I have recently received a mrspeakers ETHER. They are my first pair of 'headphones'. I have demoed a few others over the years but nothing that has really clicked for me. ETHER was a hype train purchase but I am actually pretty happy with them. I think the comfort level and signature allows them to just 'get out of the way'. Subjectively, they seem pretty balanced to me. The highs are taking a little getting used to though. There is a ssss to them, I don't know if it is tizziness or just a decay that I am not used to coming from IEMs. It's not necessarily unpleasant though, just different.

I also have a Cavalli Liquid Carbon incoming. It is another hype train purchase but I am optimistic that it will turn out OK. Since finding Changstar I have been tempted by Black Widow, but after talking with a few people here I think LC might suit my needs a little better, 'one amp to drive them all', for ETHER and my IEMs.
