Great to join this community.
Firstly, I should disclose that i’m a part of the industry, however i’m not interested in promoting or peddling specific products; rather, I represent a site, which is committed to improving the product selection process. Our site is a work in progress and relies on the information and knowledge accumulated by those in “the know,” and, in general, by the experiences and findings of the community. I’d like to learn more about some specific issues related audio products by participating in the discussions, asking questions and building a reciprocal relationship with community participants.

HI Pirates !

Have been a silent reader for quite some of Changstar (since end of 2012… wow seemed like yesterday!). Have to thank Tyll because I discovered changstar only through his website! And I stumbled upon innerfidelilty only because of…. My spiritual leader at that time… NwAvGuy… =D ahahah   

I know he has a lot of friends here! Indeed I was about to spend big bucks on some fancy DAP a couple of years ago and through another forum, stumbled upon the whole objective approach, expectation bias, mc gurk effects, measurements, etc. Indeed that guy might not have the whole truth (who has?) but have to admit that his blog indeed made me discover a new perspective on the Hifi world! And also made me discover the Clip+ and the O2! =)

Anyway coming back to Changstar, here reading posts of Purrin, Ultrabike, Anax, Zeroodefex, Deepfunk, Hans, etc. I see that the force needs balance between the dark side and the light side! =) measurements and subjective experience!

It took time to understand the dynamic here in terms of how people exchange… maybe cultural gap (am French of Indian origin)! =)

Myself, I got into the hobby 5 years ago… mainly speakers/amplifiers but quickly after moving to my new place found out that in order to have a great sound, I needed to start acoustically treating my listening room… which I started investigating… the cost and the hassle of this whole treatment thingy just wasn’t for me at that moment… till I had that eureka moment! Headphones…. =D

From then on, was very much into full size headphones… and now completely into iems (ie800, MDR-ex1000 and soon JH13pro)!
And my next target is to find the right source for those! Now fueled by a sony A15 LO + O2… and/or Clip+

That’s it for the moment! I’ll try to contribute as much as I can…
