Hello people!I recently fell back into listening on ‘phones again. I'm a video editor, and I started working freelance this year. I found myself on a lot systems where I had to cut with headphones so I picked up a pair of MDR-7506’s and a Leckerton UHA 6S MKII - that’s my portable work rig. Now I’ve really embraced editing with headphones!Anyway, I also started listening to music at home on headphones too, so I’m starting to research what’s out there, for a non-work set-up to enjoy at home... Looking forward to learning about the headphone world!
Hey - this is Randy from Santa Clara, CA! I'm in health care (physical therapist) and know next to nothing about Hifi - moreso just happen to like what I like - I've gone t hrough TONS of equipment but have narrowed it down to my HD800s (soon I'd love to mod them using the anax mod folks talk about on here) & my trusty Cavalli EHHA Rev. A which I had rebuilt by Corey at SWA. (Portable audio I'm using a Leckerton UHA 6s w/op amp 209 and a UERM). I'm just here to learn about new (and old) equipment, learn about audio and frequencies, and would love to sample more cool stuff! I've attended one of the head-fi meets in 2014 near the SF airport and am definitely looking forward to attending and bringing my stuff (if folks are interested) to other meets.
