the end-game that never comes because the goal post just moves down the road and that road has no end.

The real problem is there are infinite overtimes, and sometimes it feels like things advance by a series of fouls leading to only a single free throw at a time (or continually missed field goals if you want to take an american football perspective).

For a minute I thought this was some sort of spam robot response!

It was meant to be a comment on the fabled "hunt for the end-game", with an attempt at a more apt analogy. Or maybe I have finally failed the turing test. Time will tell?

I don't see a threat. They are just keeping him warm. So much for climate change.

Hello everyone

My name is Gerardo.

I started to get into this hobby late high school early college.  It began with reading a simple post by the audiophilac on CNET.com about how apple earbuds aren’t the best iems in the world (shellshocked).  Intrigued I started to look around for better earbuds that would let me isolate the guitar portion of my favorite songs so I could learn the guitar tab better(era: guitar hero).  First earbuds were the shure 115 I got for $75 dollars and I swore never to pay more than $100 for iems now I’m rocking $1100 UERMs and searching for some closed headphones (I need to make more friends and spend less time on the internet). In my quest for better sound I came upon head-fi and was intrigued by a community that focused around listing to music I figured I could learn of some great music I never heard of before and get some recommendations on good portable gear.  Shocked when I found out almost everyone listens to the same music appalled when I found out why (FUCK YOU LOUDNESS WARS!!).  Still now that I know I can’t unknow that music could be better even now (era: corporate drone).  Told about these here harbors (let the pirate jokes began) by a travelling mate Kamakahah. Only to later have LFF elaborate that this is where the cool kids hang, decided to check it out despite that <insert lone cowboy symbol here>.

Dream: have all my music properly master from the get go (oh yeah and the obvious have a pretty lady curled up next to me enjoying it as well)……. and the world’s best cheeseburger.  Yeah that sounds about right.

Benchmarks-  though I am mostly into getting the best portable rig (due to space and time constraints at home) the top rigs I ever heard were monsterous expensive desktop rigs.  Top three are tied for first since they were all missing something (top three use same source: hugo)

*kingsound ks-h3 + m20 amp *lcd-x + cavalli liquid glass *hd800 +dna amp  (besides this setup I hate the hd800 and wanted to slap everyone that bought one and tell them, “think of the starving children”)

4th – paradox slants + cavalli liquid glass + bricast M1
