Can you get me a Karelian Bear dog for review?
Hi Anaxilus,

You are a bit late, few months earlier and i could have sended you a mix between Karelian bear dog and Laika... It was my aunts and she's husband dog that was mainly in elk-hunting use, but he founded that Vili (dogs name) didn't afraid bears either... :))
Unfortunately Vili get kicked pretty bad by big elk and died soon after that. But they have new dog now.
So, sorry i can't send you a review sample ;)

Hello all.

I've been prowling for a bit and thought I should finally introduce myself. I was thrown initially by Ver. 1.0 of this thread as it's locked down. In any event, I'm Schopenhauer. It's a pleasure to make y'all's acquaintance.

Best,

Hi Kunlun,

1) Yes i listen classical music also and i like Sibelius, but i have only heard the common ones like "Finlandia" and "The Swan of Tuonela"
2) He-heh!  :P  I have to say yes, because i have box of those in side of my computer right now!
3) Well, he usually is the one who is avoiding the hard work...No, seriously speaking the Fire Officers Training programme give you skills to work in many jobs in Rescue services, Fire Chief is one job of many possibilities.

But tell me Kunlun, how do you know about that kind of stuff in Finland? Where do you live?

Hi na!

That's awesome that you have the wood tar candy!

I think you would like more Sibelius. His violin concerto and Synphony #2 are famous and very nice, but I recommend his Symphony #5, the early tone poem En Saga and the last piece Sibelius wrote, the tone poem Tapiola.

Colin Davis' symphony cycle with the BSO is very good at a low cost. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B007CW2FFM/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1417139974&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SY200_QL40
I'm sure you can find a copy in Finland.

I'm sorry to hear about Vili.

I'm here in NYC.

Indeed, he was a poodle man. And a flautist. Two facts that don't square with his philosophy - at least superficially. But I can make an exception in Kunlun's case. Provided, of course, that's really Kunlun in the photo. I don't want to make the exception blind.

Thanks for the welcome!

I don't think it was clear whether Schrodinger liked or hated cats.

If Schopenhauer had a cat, I feel sorry for it.

Excellent! Cats are also the perfect companions for the journey to the afterlife! - Huh. Schopenhauer with a cat. Yet another reason to be suspicious of his avowed pessimism.

If Schopenhauer had a cat, I feel sorry for it.
If Schopenhauer had a cat, it was a grumpy one.
