Hi Changstar.

I'm a longtime lurker who registered a few weeks ago. Most of what I listen to is metal and I'm a militant, recently converted HD 6XX evangelist. Burn the Audezes that should've failed quality control! If you have a question about how a headphone performs with fucked up (in recording, mixing, or mastering) productions, I can probably answer it.

Hi, I'm a French enthusiast (hey, nobody's perfect) who got in audio with the French forum Tellement Nomade. That's where I met Sorrodje who introduced me to Changstar. That's why I'm here, and the fact that I like an open discussion with serious people.
I started with iems and quickly followed with ciems, but of course ended up with headphones. Unsurprisingly, as prophesied by Sorrodje, I now own an HD800. Of course it matches only soso with my Lyr2 so I'm still soul searching (I first got the Lyr2 for my iems).
For various reasons, I can only listen to my gear at work (i'm a patent attorney so I have the chance to spend many hours at the office), which leads me to have somewhat weird needs (like for instance an AMP with a 1X gain for my iems).
Anyway, nuff babling, I just hope to have fun here and learn some stuff (I'm particularly curious about DACs).

Hello Mr Butchi :) . Welcome!  :)p7

If you pronounced that bootchi  it would be insect  in the local language where I live.

kothganesh can correct my spelling/pronunciation, as he actually speaks it, rather than just knowing the words for some of the creatures in the garden, which is all I can manage.

Bienvenue! We are very familiar with English speaking Frenchmen. You should fit right in with our current crop. ;)

Well, the loosest transliteration is poochi and it is a generic term for an insect.
