Corrected FR posted after much pestering.

Very clean sounding and played around with the pads a bit to get more bass. Still has that AT mids thing going on. Just too much. Again, reminds me somewhat of the W5000.

fixed (shhh, we're secretly trying to make him feel bad).

Oh..OK then.  I'll have a go at it.

Hey purrin.  WTF is up with this graph?

Its like you're not even trying anymore.  Get back in the lab and do it right this time!

;-)

Was that any good?

this guy is right. i mean look at that horrible ringing between 12k and 15k(something wrong here). also the rainbow is inaccurate. there is suppose be some green and purple as well.  that graph is absolutely preposterous. must be obviously the flaw in the amping and not transparent enough source. only logical explanation.

Wow, I'm not sure if I missed the revised measurements of these, but they are damn clean!  They look like they would sound really good.  I guess that 5k peak is bothersome though.

Respect to AT though for the welcome cleanliness.

I've owned a pair of these and kind of regret selling, they did sound very clean and I do kind of like the frequency curve. a bit warmer sound I suppose? but I just couldn't use them portably, they look way too nice. so afraid of breaking them. anyone know a similar sounding pair for portable use? will amp. :P

They are pretty unique. Nothing quite sounds similar. You could try DT1350. The good units sound good. The bad units sounds bad.

oh, that's unfortunate. just looked at the measurements of the DT1350... even more unfortunate, that looks like a terrible lottery! I'll keep reading about them to see if they might be worth the effort.
more suggestions welcome, meanwhile

thanks! :)
