These are my first IEMs after I gave up on my Audeos (comfy issues). I had quite a bit less fitting problems with this. Using large tip option for adequate seal.

Sound

With proper seal these are fairly bassy and perhaps a bit bloated. However, these over-grown cute-tips are engaging. Didn't have many problems with the mids. The treble might be a little emphasized though not as much as the bass. These are fun and somehow manage to deliver decent detail. Vocals sound normal and clean. I quite like 'em. Nice.

Comfort

These are somewhat on the large side of things, but are light. The cable does not go around the ear and just hangs loose and free like that. It didn't bother me. Can wear them for quite sometime. So far my ear internals don't hurt.

Presentation

I got the all black ones. I like how they look. Sort of like mini-beer kegs. The lack of bling is welcomed.

Price

Paid $14 on a sale. IMO great bang for the buck.

Overall

While I was at Fry's a random dude told me that these were awesome and should look no further. He bought like 2 or 3. I'm very happy I got one. If looking for an affordable decent bassy IEM, these are plenty good IMO.

Measurements

Please take these w a grain of salt. Disregarded information >10 kHz. The measurements are quite repeatable. There might be an imbalance indeed, but it didn't bother me that much.

Impedance
(listed as 16 ohms, somehow I measured about 28 ohm. Fairly resistive)

General measurement question: is it the same reason as purrin's IEM measurements why >10k can be disregarded?

Yes. The severe roll-off and roughness in the treble area are probably more a function of the coupler and insertion IMO. Past 10 kHz things are not that repeatable either, perhaps due to small differences in the orientation of the mic and the IEM. In a nutshell, I don't trust these measurements past 9 kHz even.
