La verità in cimento, RV 739: Act 1. Scene 8. Aria. Se l'acquisto di quel Soglio
Naive

This Vivaldi opera track is one of the best ways for me to judge gear.

It starts with what I refer to as an acoustic burst. What seems like the entire baroque ensemble comes in all at once, and with great vigor. The ability to resolve this cleanly is not an easy task. It can sound muddy and closed in if not rendered well.

The HD800, Code-X, and Abyss all pass with flying colors. Other headphones I've otherwise thought very good can do poorly at this.

The vocals on this track can also be sibilant if all pieces of the puzzle aren't neutral. There is one part where the force of the vocals feels like a puff against the ear. There is also what seems like a digital artifact that can be hard to discern on some gear.
