TDK IEM Measurements
« on: October 20, 2013, 06:04:52 AM »

Don't know what model - I figure they are the BA200.

Actually not too shabby sounding. I lost my notes on them, so I can't recall what specifically I did not like about them, but I do remember telling myself, almost...
Given the street price, "almost" probably means pretty decent.

FYI, I think the 10k peak is measurement artifact (everything past 8-9k probably isn't accurate for these IEM measurements.)

I like them a lot for $150 or however much they are.

The bodies look "shure" like.

Close, same type of shell design which is good for folks that like Shure ergonomics but not Shure sound.  Shame Fostex didn't use the GR07 housing for the Te05.

I remember it was mentioned somewhere that it is a first earphone with Sonion 1723 AcuPass driver, is it correct?

Yep. I mentioned that. I've seen documents where the refer to the 1723 hand in hand with "Imation" --- meaning they were probably the first company to really push for it being built.
