IEM Measurement Notes (V2)
« on: July 26, 2013, 08:01:13 AM »

Made some changes to FR compensation with the IEM measurements based on additional listening tests and comparisons with various references (my main speaker and near-field desktop rigs). Those measurements using the new FR compensation are indicated with V2.

The changes are fairly minor, so comparison with the legacy measurements are still somewhat OK. The new measurements will show the UERM as being more mid-forward and a hair brighter than before. Legacy measurements are indicated with a "*" on the index.

Also, V2 measurements now extend to 22kHz. Reminder that everything past 9k could be questionable. Those sharp mid to high treble peaks are interactions between the coupler (ear canal) and sound pathways of the IEMs. I'm not sure we actually hear them.
