I'm not sure, but I think Craig may have made one or two 2A3s with the BA power supply and high-frequency heater. If so, the only different between the mk2 would be the inclusion of interstage transformers.

With the EML tubes, I'd say it's a pretty good deal considering the cost of those tubes.

As far as Mesh vs. Solid plate, hard to say. I preferred the 300B solid plate over the mesh. But the 45 mesh over the solid. My preferences were for a more tighter sound.

If you look at the 2A3 picture on his site that shows the old power supply.  I was under the impression that BA power supply chassis was an update that was happening when the high frequency heater was implemented, but with Craig I guess you never quite know.  There is nothing about the sellers description that makes me question the validity of the claim though.  I had one on order before I changed to the 2A3x4, and what you have shown in the pictures is what I expected.

If you could confirm that it had the high-frequency heater (maybe the seller has an email from Craig) I would say it is a pretty good deal as well.  From the pictures it looks brand new.  If you were to order new that is basically $3800 with the EMLs.  I am not sure if it is worth the extra money just for the interstage transformer.  With the older version you have the option to do some cap rolling as well.
